3 Things That Will Get Your Article Declined or Account Suspended At EzineArticles.com….I Know Because It Happened To Me!
If you know or read anything on article marketing you’ll know that the big kahuna of article directories is Ezinearticles get your articles up there and it won’t be too long before Google notices them.
But did you know it’s very easy to get your articles declined, account suspended or closed down?
If you’ve read all the small print and terms and conditions you know that there are some things you should and shouldn’t do but if you’re like me and don’t like reading small print/terms and conditions it can get you in trouble.
Here are 3 things I did that got me in trouble and that you should never do…
1. Never Submit Articles Created By Article Creation Software.
I fell foul to this one when I submitted an article I created on Jonathan Legers “Instant Article Wizard” article creation software (which before I go a word further is one of the easiest and greatest ways to create content) but anyway Jonathan recommends that rather than doing just a quick copy and paste of your article, you rework it and put it in your own words.
Which I did or thought I did enough, but it got my account suspended until I had to explain myself and then I got it reopened.
2. Never, Never mention (PLR) Private Label Rights in Your Articles
This was another thing that got me in trouble at Ezinearticles I wrote an article and mentioned PLR in it. This got my article declined not that the article was solely on PLR but that I mentioned it in the article.
Yes, I’m not going to bury my head in the sand and say it doesn’t exist private label rights is now a major part of marketing online but please don’t mention it in your articles or you may fall foul.
3. Be Careful If You’re Using ShareAPost.com and Submitting Articles at the Same Time.
This is another one I fell foul of just this week. I currently am using the free blog service of Jonathan Legers at ShareAPost.com where you share your blog posts with other bloggers to use on there blogs (It’s a fantastic service if you’re looking for quality content for your blog) but anyway.
The reason I got into trouble was that I submitted my article and used the ShareAPost.com service on the same day which meant that my blog post/article was on others peoples blogs by the time it came up for Ezinearticles to approve it and my account was suspended because I then had my had to prove that it was my original content in the first place and not copied from somewhere else.
I know that some of these mistakes were of my own doing but if you wait for up to 7 days for your article to be approved and something like this happens it can get very frustrating when it takes longer than this to get your article up and running.
I know some of you may be thinking well I should have followed the terms and conditions better but if this post helps some of from making the same mistakes I made…..well then it was worth it!
Have a great weekend.
