An apple crisp recipe is a dessert that will surely make your whole family crazy. In the United States, this particular dessert has been defined as a dish that compromises sweet apples at the bottom most layer with delectable toppings. On the other hand, in Britain, apple crisp is also known as apple crumble that includes apples, butter and sugar as its main ingredients. As time passed by, this kind of recipe became one of the most famous desserts to be served during important occasions.

In the year 1996, apple crisp dessert recipes were abundant during the autumn season – mainly because this is the season that the supplies of apples were abundant. Well, that was before. Today, everybody can enjoy the delectable and heavenly taste of apple crisp desserts whatever season of the year it is. There are quite a number of canned apples readily available in the market and that there is no need to wait for the autumn season to arrive. Because of that, this dish had been a popular dessert that can be served to surely capture the hearts of your family and guests.

If you are planning either a big or small party, apple crisp desserts should never be forgotten. Will you like to have your guests come back for more, and let them experience something that they can never forget? Then, this is the best time for you to know the different apple crisp recipes available. Although this dessert is filled with luscious taste, it is very easy to prepare. As a matter of fact, you may do different variations of recipes if you prefer.

One of the easiest recipes of apple crisps is by having six large apples peeled and sliced, 1/2 cup of brown or white sugar (depending on your preference), 3/4 cup of oatmeal, 1/4 cup of butter (melted), 2 tablespoons of cinnamon and 1 1/2 cup of flour. The first thing that you have to make sure of is to evenly spread the apples on a 9”x11” baking pan that is smothered with melted sugar along the bottom and sides. This is to ensure that the apples will not stick together while it is being baked.

The remaining ingredients will be mixed altogether in a separate bowl – combine the ingredients until you have that smooth texture. After which, you can spread the mixture evenly on top of the apples. This will serve as the crunchy or crispy topping. Place it in a baking oven, preheated in three hundred fifty degrees Fahrenheit and leave it for approximately 30 45 minutes. Once you have noticed that the top layer is brown and crispy, take it from the oven and serve it while it is warm.

See, surprising your guests is so easy, and tasty as well. If you prefer, you can add some other variations of fruits, or even chocolate syrup in between the apples and the crumbly topping. In most countries, they include their apple crisp desserts with a chocolate or vanilla ice cream.

Try making one of the suggested recipes, and in no time, you will surely have your guests go gaga over your dessert. This is something that your guests and family will anticipate from you.
